The successor to the Ferrari 488 GTB is a marvellous piece of Italian engineering and design. Named F8 Tributo, it’s a worthy successor to the popular supercar that pushed the line in terms of both performance and visual appeal. Simply put, the Ferrari F8 Tributo is one of the most beautiful pieces of machinery to grace the roads of the world in recent years. Add a ludicrously good-looking Rosso Corsa paint scheme and a set of ADV.1 Wheels, and the drool fest can begin.
This Ferrari F8 Tributo comes from R1 Motorsport, a well-known tuning company from California, dedicated to high-performance and luxury builds. This time, the tuner added a set of custom-made ADV10 Track Spec CS Series three-piece forged wheels to this Italian beast, creating a clean & appealing wheel setup. In turn, this Ferrari now looks even more beautiful than it once did.
Impressive Power, Great Handling And Amazing Performance Come With The Ferrari F8 Tributo
The F8 Tributo uses the same engine found in the Ferrari 488 Pista, a track-oriented beast from the Italian carmaker. It’s powered by a 3.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 710 horsepower and 568lb-ft (768 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful conventional V8-powered Ferrari engine produced to date.
To achieve this, the vehicle uses specific intake plenums and manifolds with optimized fluid dynamics to improve the combustion efficiency of the engine, thanks to the reduction of the temperature of the air in the cylinder, which also helps boost its power output. Furthermore, several additional lightening efforts, custom Inconel manifolds, and other items improve the overall performance, making this a true technological marvel of an engine.
In the F8, the engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 2.9 seconds. On the other hand, the sprint from zero to 124mph (0-200km/h) can be attained in 7.6 seconds. The vehicle allows for a top speed of 211mph (350km/h). Add the fact that – according to Ferrari – Tributo’s downforce has been increased by 15 percent as compared to the 488 GTB, making it a potent weapon both on the street and the track.
Giving The Vehicle A Set Of Aftermarket Forged Wheels, Improving It’s Look Even Further
Even though the OEM look of pretty much any Ferrari would be good enough for us and pretty much everyone else, for this customer, adding a personal touch was needed. In turn, they’ve had R1 Motorsport work with ADV.1 Wheels to create a custom-made set of their high-quality forged wheels, enhancing this Ferrari’s looks and giving the customer a more personal look for his vehicle.
The owner went with a set of ADV10 M.V2 CS Series two-piece concave forged wheels. For this build, the wheels are sized 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear. Finally, the customer went with a Polished w/ Polished Windows finish combination, topped off with 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware.
