Rosso Mugello Ferrari 488 GTB – ADV.1 Forged Wheels
Thanks to its Rosso Mugello paint finish and a set of ADV5S Track Spec CS Series three-piece forged wheels, this Ferrari 488 GTB looks beautiful
Whenever a perfectly built piece of Italian design and engineering hits our desk, our morning gets a whole lot better. This Rosso Mugello Ferrari 488 GTB is no different. Thanks to its gorgeous exterior paint finish, a set of custom-made ADV5S Track Spec CS Series three-piece forged wheels, this 488 GTB is something else. A real beauty. And that’s something we can all get behind.
Overall, the Ferrari 488 GTB is a purebred high-performance machine. The car is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 – an evolutionary step forward in engine development from the Ferrari 458 Italia. This new engine may be smaller in displacement than the one found in the Ferrari 458, but it develops a higher output than the 458’s naturally aspirated engine.
In the Ferrari 488 GTB, the engine delivers a staggering 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 760 N·m (561 lb·ft) of torque at 3,000 rpm. This results in a specific power output of 126.3 kW (171.7 PS; 169.4 hp) per liter and specific torque output of 194.8 N·m (144 lbf·ft) per liter, both records for a Ferrari car. In turn, this allows the Ferrari 488 GTB to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 3.0 seconds. The vehicle will achieve a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the perfect foundation for an aftermarket build.
This particular Rosso Mugello Ferrari 488 GTB comes from TR3 Performance. The vehicle features a set of ADV5S Track Spec CS Series three-piece forged wheels. Just like the vehicle itself, these wheels are custom-engineered to meet the particular specifications and requirements of this platform. In turn, ADV.1 can make a set of wheels that are perfectly matched to the high-performance nature of the vehicle itself.
For this build, these ADV5S Track Spec CS Series wheels are sized 20×9.5 in the front and 21×12.5 in the rear. Furthermore, the wheels feature a Brushed Gloss Liquid Smoke and Polished Aluminum with Gloss Clear finish combination. Finally, the wheels are built with a Hidden Titanium Hardware option, lowering the wheel weight, but also, cleaning up the overall look of the wheels themselves.
