2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC US Pricing Revealed: Will Start At $47,100
A new generation of Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV raises the bar in its segment. In addition to a dynamic exterior design, an elevated interior, a systematically electrified engine, and innovative technologies, the all-new SUV effortlessly embodies modern, sporty luxury. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC will be available at U.S. dealerships starting in Spring 2023
Two additional curated trim levels will be available for the U.S. market: Exclusive and Pinnacle. The Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV model range includes the GLC 300 SUV and the GLC 300 4MATIC SUV. Each trim level features a variety of comfort and technology features, in addition to a range of options to further tailor the vehicle to the individual lifestyle of customers, in addition to an array of standard equipment.
At first glance, the new GLC’s exterior design is unmistakable as a part of the Mercedes-Benz SUV family. Its standard LED headlamps combine with the radiator grille to create a bold look across its full surface, while precisely sculpted edges and muscular wheel arches offer an element of elegance and off-road prowess. The AMG Line package takes this aesthetic even further with body color wheel arch liners and an impressive star pattern radiator grille.
The GLC 300 4MATIC’s modern and sporty interior is made even more impressive by the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and 11.9-inch central display that rises from the centre console with a slight angle towards the driver. Thanks to MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), controlling comfort features and vehicle functions is easy, including the Transparent Hood that’s available when off-road mode is activated at low speeds. On the central display, it shows a virtual view below the front of the car, featuring the front wheels and their steering position – helping drivers spot objects in their way.
Further enhancing the interior is a choice of 13 upholsteries in MB-Tex, leather and Nappa leather, as well as new trims, including Glossy Brown Ash Wood, Natural Grain Black Wood with Aluminum Lines, and Metal Weave.
The GLC’s all-new turbocharged four-cylinder engine packs an impressive 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, with an extra 23 hp and 148 lb-ft provided by the second-generation ISG and integrated 48-volt mild hybrid system. This notably increases torque from its predecessor. For even more efficiency, the mild hybrid system is equipped to enable gliding without running the engine, and to recover kinetic energy lost during braking.
Mercedes-Benz USA’s best-selling model in 2022 was the GLC SUV. Mercedes-Benz USA will release the new GLC SUV in spring 2023.
