This Tesla Model S P100D comes from Vossen Wheels. Featuring their HC-1 wheels, it’s a real beauty. When Tesla Motors revealed the P100D, the automotive world was left in a state of shock. While the Model S comes standard with Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, in the P100D Model S, it pairs a high-performance rear motor with a high-efficiency front motor to achieve Ludicrous acceleration: the Model S P100D will sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.

The Dual Motor Model S is a categorical improvement on conventional all-wheel-drive systems. With two motors, one in the front and one in the rear, Model S digitally and independently controls torque to the front and rear wheels. The result is unparalleled traction control in all conditions. This allows the Model S driver to experience both the high-performance acceleration, but also, impressive cornering performance for such a heavy and luxury vehicle.

On the other hand, the Model S – thanks to its popularity – brings plenty of owners to the aftermarket tuning world, all in order to give their vehicles a nice subtle update. The build beforehand comes courtesy of GMP Performance. The tuner gave this Model S a set of Vossen HC-1 wheels, sized 21×9.5 and 21×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. The customer went with a Smoked Brushed finish.

Been in the automotive industry ever since he got out of high school. Loves 911s, and everything BMW makes, even the new cars. He also enjoys racing events, even as a spectator, hanging on the side of the pit wall and taking pictures and drinking espresso that makes want to write more. Too tall to drive almost any supercar, but that doesn't stop him from bashing out people that do. Follows the aftermarket tuning industry in depth. Loves to spend time at BMW Welt. Enjoys too much coffee.
