Photoshoot: Acura NSX on HRE P201 Wheels By Wheels Boutique

While movies clearly have taught us that remakes don’t do well, in the car world that’s a bit different. When you wish to resurrect an icon of the ’90s, you need to do it well. Either you end up with a gazillion of bad comments, even worse memes and overall, you fuck up your company nicely with that.

So, when Acura or Honda (for everyone else almost except United States) have decided to make the modern day version of the Honda NSX, many were skeptical. The vehicle which ruled the streets and the racetrack even before I discovered porn, clearly had to be able to compete with the best high-performance vehicles on the market today.

Did they manage to make a car that both looks and performs good? We think so.

The Acura NSX is a beast. Coming with both a high-performance engine and contemporary looks, it ticks all the boxes. The vehicle is powered by a 3.5 Liter V6 twin-turbo engine. It delivers a total of 581 horsepower – thanks to a Hybrid SH-AWD system that’s mated to a 9-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). The Acura NSX can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 2.9 seconds. It will reach a top speed of 191mph (307km/h). The sheer acceleration, top speed and power delivery are also matched with good cornering performance. A perfect every day vehicle, that could be transformed into a track day monster with ease. It seems almost perfect.

As it usually goes in the car world these days the owner decided it needs a subtle personal touch. This Acura NSX comes courtesy of Wheels Boutique. This is where the owner chose to add a set of aftermarket HRE Wheels for his vehicle, further improving its exterior appeal and where the Acura NSX received an even more aggressive look.

The HRE P201 wheels installed for this White Acura NSX are sized 20×9 and 21×12.5 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels come with a gorgeous Gloss Bronze finish, working perfectly in contrast with the overall white finish of the vehicle.
