Wheels Boutique Updates A McLaren 650S With HRE S204 Wheels

When you order a McLaren 650S, there seems to be little of what you can do to make this car better. While changing it’s design and body work may seem far fetched – since the car maker did such an excellent job – adding a set of aftermarket wheels must be the only viable option to improve its exterior looks. Additionally, the rumble of the aftermarket exhaust system is another aspect that can easily make the vehicle better, as was applied to this build.

The lightweight carbon fibre MonoCell ensures the McLaren 650S has the handling of a race-bred supercar. It helps the car achieve superior low weight, while the carbon fiber construction makes sure it’s future-proof too: carbon fibre does not degrade like metal, so the 650S will feel as agile and be just as safe for decades to come.

The McLaren 650S is powered by a 3.8L TwinTurbo engine delivering a whopping 650 horsepower and 678NM (500LB FT) of torque that help propel the vehicle from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 3.0 seconds. It’s top speed is 333km/h or 207mph.

When this particular McLaren 650S came to Wheels Boutique, its owner decided to add a set of aftermarket custom forged wheels to his vehicle, improving looks, but also not impeding performance in any significant way.

The choice for this vehicle was made with a set of HRE P204 wheels. These lightweight wheels are a perfect addition to a high-performance vehicle like this, as they feature utmost perfect fitment, great design and low-weight as well.

Wheels Boutique handled the install of the wheels & tires, ensuring that the whole process went smoothly. These P204 wheels are sized 20×9 / 21×12 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, sized 245/30/20 and 325/25/21 in the front and rear. The Brushed Clear Center with Volcano Red PPG Color Match Lips create a gorgeous finishing combination, which also works well with the car’s exterior paint scheme too.

Finally, an Akrapovic Slip-On Line Exhaust was installed, giving the McLaren 650S a better sound and a bit more power.
