Blue Mica Toyota Supra A90 Gets Upgraded With ADV5.0 FLOWspec Wheels

Subtle upgrades are done to this Blue Mica Toyota A90 Supra, a carbon fiber body kit consisting of a front lip spoiler, mirror covers, side skirts, a rear bumper with canards, and a rather large wing, all topped off with a set of lightweight ADV5.0 FLOWSpec wheels

After all the heated debates over the release of the Toyota A90 Supra have subsided, we are finally getting some objective views on this rather compelling sports car. It’s definitely successful and sales numbers are doing good. It’s also becoming the darling of the aftermarket tuning scene, even though the BMW-sourced engine isn’t as tuning happy as the old 2JZ engine found in the previous, and rather legendary, generation of the Supra.

The new-generation Toyota Supra GR features the same 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine found in the BMW Z4 M40i. It delivers 385 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the new Supra delivers impressive performance & overall, great driving dynamics. Sure, some may have expected more. And we tend to agree, but since this is a rather tuning-oriented engine and performance modifications can be done with those. In turn, we can expect 500+ horsepower tuned builds to become the norm rather soon, with over 900 horsepower a reachable goal for some tuners.

Just like all of its predecessors, the Toyota Supra A90 sends all of its power to the rear wheels. This is done through a standard limited-slip rear differential – the same found in the Z4 M40i. It allows it to lock between 0-100 percent in a blink, thus allowing the new Supra to be a blast to chuck through a corner. Furthermore, Supra comes with two driving modes to play with; Normal and Sport. This is a refreshing decision in a world where every performance machine seemingly comes with about a trillion different drive-mode combinations – most of which we set up once and then forget about it. In addition, as the braking power goes, the new Supra can be tamed down from speed thanks to four-pot Brembos at each corner.

Even though it features quite impressive and fresh looks, owners tend to get some aftermarket upgrades, making their Supras stand out even more. This time, this Blue Mica Toyota A90 Supra was slightly modded, as the owner went with an aftermarket carbon fiber body kit and a set of ADV.1 Wheels. The body kit features a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, mirror covers, side skirts, a rear bumper with a diffuser, and canards, topped off with a rather large wing.

For the wheels, the customer went with a set of ADV5.0 FLOWSpec wheels. These are sized 19×9.5 in the front and 19×11 in the rear, adorned with a bespoke Brushed Gunmetal finish, creating a rather beautiful combination with the Blue Mica exterior paint job.
