Clean White Mercedes-Benz S450 On Vossen Hybrid Forged Wheels
Vossen Wheels gave this 2017 Mercedes-Benz (W222) S450 a refreshed exterior look, thanks to a set of their HF-7 Hybrid Forged wheels, sized 22×9 in the front and 22×10.5 in the rear, finished in a Silver Polished finish
A few weeks ago, we have shown you a gorgeous black Mercedes-Benz S580 of the new generation. Today, we have a chance to give you yet another bid body Benz, this time the S-Class of the previous generation, a gorgeous white Mercedes-Benz S450 on a set of Vossen HF-7 Hybrid Forged wheels. And yet again, this is another prime example of how well large luxury vehicles work with aftermarket wheels.
The Mercedes-Benz S450 is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 bi-turbo engine, delivering 367 horsepower and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. It utilizes a 9-speed automatic 9G-TRONIC transmission system, mated to the rather good 4MATIC all-wheel drive powertrain, resulting in rather agile power delivery & acceleration, even with such a large vehicle like the S-Class. In turn, this Mercedes-Benz can accelerate from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 5.3 seconds, a pretty good result for a car that weighs in at over 2,275 kg (5,020 lb). And of course, all the luxury amenities you would expect in a large German business sedan can be found, making this a perfect business long hauler by all means.
However, for the owner of this particular S-Class, this wasn’t enough. After all, the new model came out and his W222 needed some freshening up. In turn, he called up Vossen Wheels to make him a set of wheels that will make his car pop up once again!
The Miami-based wheelmaker machined a set of Vossen HF-7 Hybrid Forged wheels, giving his ride a great-looking wheel setup. For this build, the wheels are sized 22×9 in the front and 22×10.5 in the rear. The customer opted for a Solid Silver Polished finish, working well with the white exterior of his vehicle.
