There’s something about a track oriented machine and a busy workshop. As you will see in this project showcase by European Auto Source, their shop floor is bustling with BMW’s of all kinds. This particular BMW M4 GTS is joined by a beautiful Monaco Blue BMW E36 M3 – clearly showing the advancements the car maker made over the years in both aesthetics and performance levels. The reason for this BMW M4 GTS’ visit to European Auto Source is modding.

While some won’t see any logical reason to upgrade what is already an impressive track beast, to enthusiasts, on the other hand, there’s not a single reason why not to.

The BMW M4 GTS is among the quickest and most die-hard models that BMW M ever produced for the street. Coming with a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, the BMW M4 can rely on a whopping 493 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of peak torque. The power is harnessed through a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, equipped with Drivelogic, allowing the M4 GTS to sprint from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 3.6 seconds. In a nutshell, the BMW M4 GTS is a race-bred car that utilizes the best from BMW’s engineering and design departments.

The vehicle comes racetrack ready from the factory and features carbon fiber panels, lowering its weight and improving the aerodynamic characteristics. The coilover suspension allows the driver to attack those corners faster, all the while there is a water injection system, rollbar and other, race inspired additions, completing the track-oriented upgrades. Some will say, the vehicle is perfect from the start. To which we completely concur. But, as mentioned before, to some enthusiasts, that just isn’t enough.

The biggest and most noticeable upgrade for this BMW M4 GTS is a set of HRE FF15 wheels. The wheels come sized 20×9.5 and 20×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. Thanks to a Matte Black finish applied to them, they match the exterior Frozen Gray finish of the vehicle perfectly.
