This Nero Ferrari 488 GTB comes with a Vorsteiner Diavolo aero kit, consisting of the aero front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser fins, and a decklid spoiler, all made from pre-preg carbon fiber in a gorgeous glossy finish, joined by a set of carbon fiber finished directional aftermarket wheels
When Italian high-performance machines are concerned, the battle still rages on between Ferrari and Lamborghini. And while the latter has shown to be exceptional at producing ludicrous-looking vehicles, Ferrari has been similarly radical, but a little classier and tamer as compared to its local rival. The Ferrari 488 GTB is one of those vehicles that looks beautiful, aggressive, yet understated and somewhat tame when compared to the Huracán and Aventador. And that’s a negative thing, not at all.
In a nutshell, the Ferrari 488 GTB is a purebred high-performance machine. The car is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 – an evolutionary step forward in engine development from the Ferrari 458 Italia. This new engine may be smaller in displacement than the one found in the Ferrari 458, but it develops a higher output than the 458’s naturally aspirated engine.
In the Ferrari 488 GTB, the engine delivers a staggering 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) and 760 Nm (561 lb·ft) of torque. This results in a specific power output of 126.3 kW (171.7 PS; 169.4 hp) per liter and specific torque output of 194.8 N·m (144 lbf·ft) per liter, both records for a Ferrari car. In turn, this allows the Ferrari 488 GTB to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 3.0 seconds. The vehicle will achieve a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
While the OEM look of the Ferrari 488 GTB leaves little to be wanted, companies like Vorsteiner have made it their purpose to enhance the looks of these vehicles nonetheless. And unlike some, more extravagant companies out there, Vorsteiner always keeps it classy – however cheesy that may sound. Their Ferrari 488 GTB Diavolo aero tuning package is another prime example of their design philosophy, returning a more aggressive, although still classy-looking exterior look for this Italian purebred sports car.
As you will see from the media gallery below, the Vorsteiner Diavolo aero package for the Ferrari 488 GTB is a complete kit, enhancing all areas of this car. It consists of a Diavolo aero front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser fins, and a decklid spoiler, all made from pre-preg carbon fiber in a gorgeous glossy finish. Add the rather interestingly designed directional aftermarket wheels, in a striking carbon fiber finish, and you’ve got a Ferrari 488 GTB that will be the focal point of any downtown restaurant parking lot in Los Angeles. Just what the owner wanted.
