Dime Racing Announces New Mercedes AMG GT Vehicle Program

After several other more well-known tuning companies revealed their Mercedes AMG GT programs, it was time for DIME Racing, the AMG racing and performance specialist, to do the same. Earlier this week, DIME Racing has announced its new turnkey performance vehicle program based off the AMG GT. DIME Racing’s limited edition, fully certified and street-legal DIME Racing GT will be sold at select Mercedes AMG dealers throughout the US.

Based off the 2017 AMG GT, the DIME Racing Edition AMG GT will feature a DIME Racing designed and engineered suspension, aerodynamics package, wheels, and cooling package to keep up with the upgraded engine that produces 745 horsepower. All of the performance enhancements from DIME Racing create a unique track-capable experience that’s bred from DIME’s extensive experience in various racing series including Pirelli World Challenge.

The MSRP for the 2017 DIME Racing Edition GT is targeted to start around $150,200 and will carry a bumper-to-bumper warranty. Each Dime Racing GT will come with its own personalized Växjö watch from former Formula 1 driver Mr. Stefan Johansson, featuring matching serial numbers with the car.

Production numbers will be limited to 100 units per year and the first DIME Racing Editions having already been reserved. Each vehicle will be cataloged and serialized with its own unique DIME Racing VIN, to ensure collect-ability and authenticity. The opportunity to be one of the few owners is limited to a first come, first serve basis.
