When ADV.1 Wheels enter any automotive discussion, you’re certainly going to get a lot of exhales and impressed points of view. Point being, the aftermarket wheel company has been providing the tuning industry with some of the most exceptional wheel designs, fitments, and finishes to date. Now, the wheel company has released a new wheel series – The ADV.1 Advanced Series wheels – the first since the introduction of their Super Light wheel series, introduced back in 2013 to the overwhelming praise by the industry.

The ADV.1 Advanced Series offers a unique approach in evolving a wheel lineup. The wheel series features the most engineered, tested and visually enhanced ADV.1 wheel series to date. The Advanced Series improves on pretty much every aspect of the series of wheels; from thorough testing, technologically advanced engineering & designed, motorsport derived enhancements, all the way to standard titanium hardware, improved packaging and other items.

Basically, the wheels have been enhanced in every possible way.

The Advanced Series comes with five wheel designs. They are all available in the three-piece Track Spec Advanced Series and two-piece M.V2 Advanced Series configuration options. There’s also one completely new wheel design, the ADV510 – a clean looking, split-five-spoke wheel design that suits anything from luxury Mercedes-Benz S-Class projects, Dodge Vipers, BMW M6, all the way to Lamborghini Aventadors and Ferrari F12s. In a nutshell, the wheel company simply created a wheel series/design that caters to what their customers wanted.

For a debut of the Advanced Series, ADV.1 chose the BMW M4 GTS as their model vehicle.

For many, the BMW M4 GTS is the pinnacle of what the Bavarian car company offers in terms of street legal race cars. Because, the M4 GTS is one of the most performance, handling and track optimized vehicles in the car maker’s model range. The BMW M4 GTS is powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 493 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of peak torque.

The power is harnessed through a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic that allows the M4 GTS to roar from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. In a nutshell, the BMW M4 GTS is a race-bred car that utilizes the best from BMW’s engineering and design departments.

For this BMW M4 GTS build, ADV.1 went with a set of ADV5.2 Track Spec Advanced Series wheels. These wheels come with spoke design featuring thin spokes with aggressive cuts for weight reduction and aesthetics. The ADV5.2 Advanced Series features bespoke design queues such Advanced Window Pocketing surrounding each spoke creating a silhouette unique to anything currently in the wheel industry.

This BMW M4 GTS comes with wheels sized 20×9.5 and 20×11.5 in the front and rear, respectively. The finish chosen for these wheels is a combo of a Brushed Liquid Smoke with Matte Clear for the wheel face and Brushed Liquid Smoke with a Polished Clear for the lips. Coming standard with titanium exposed hardware, the wheels offer an intricate design that fits the M4 GTs perfectly.
