Now that the dust has settled and the all-new Toyota Supra A90 has been out there for a while, we can safely say that this is one great-looking car. Sure, the debate on the looks and the sharing of components with the BMW Z4 is still going on, but this is a vehicle that holds its own within its price range in both looks & performance. And there’s nobody that can say otherwise. This is further emphasized with the release of the Toyota Supra GR, a more refined version of this two-door coupe.

Under the hood of the new-generation Toyota Supra GR lies the same 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine found in the European BMW Z4 M40i. The engine delivers 385 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the new Supra delivers impressive performance & overall, great driving dynamics. Sure, some may have expected more. And we tend to agree, but since this is a rather tuning-oriented engine and performance modifications can be done with those. In turn, we can expect 500+ horsepower tuned builds to become the norm rather soon, with over 900 horsepower a reachable goal for some tuners.

Just like all of its predecessors, the Toyota Supra A90 sends all of its power to the rear wheels. This is done through a standard limited-slip rear differential – the same found in the Z4 M40i. It allows it to lock between 0-100 percent in a blink, thus allowing the new Supra to be a blast to chuck through a corner. Furthermore, Supra comes with two driving modes to play with; Normal and Sport. This is a refreshing decision in a world where every performance machine seemingly comes with about a trillion different drive-mode combinations – most of which we set up once and then forget about it. In addition, as the braking power goes, the new Supra can be tamed down from speed thanks to four-pot Brembos at each corner.

A perfect foundation for an aftermarket build.

This white Toyota Supra comes with a pristine exterior finish, several aero modifications, and finally, a set of Vossen Hybrid Forged HF-1 wheels. These are sized 20×9.5 in the front and 20×11 in the rear, filling out those wheel arches perfectly. Additionally, the wheels come with a Satin Silver finish, working well against the exterior color of this vehicle. We definitely like the split five-spoke design of these wheels, and the bright red Vossen logo is the perfect small touch for these wheels.

Since this is a 2022 Toyota Supra A91-CF edition, it comes with several carbon fiber additions. These include the carbon-fiber front splitter, carbon-fiber side rockers, and rear canards. The GR Supra A91-CF Edition also comes with a carbon fiber decklid spoiler, but for this particular car, this has been replaced with an aftermarket aero wing, which honestly, puts that perfect exclamation point on this build.
