The Rosso Corsa Ferrari F8 Tributo seen here comes from R1 Motorsport, and it features a set of custom-made lightweight ADV.1 Wheels added, giving this beautiful Italian supercar a more exquisite look
When successors are in question, it’s safe to say that Ferrari does their job well. The successor to the Ferrari 488 GTB is named Ferrari F8 Tributo, and it’s one of the most beautiful modern supercars to date. It’s simply put one of the most beautiful pieces of machinery to grace the streets of the world in recent times. Add the lovely Rosso Corsa exterior finish, a set of ADV.1 Wheels, and some R1 Motorsport magic, and the drool fest can begin.
In the power department, the F8 Tributo uses the same engine found in the Ferrari 488 Pista, a track-oriented beast of a car. It’s powered by a 3.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 710 horsepower and 768 Nm (568lb-ft) of torque, making it the most powerful conventional V8-powered Ferrari engine produced. In order to achieve this, the vehicle uses specific intake plenums and manifolds with optimized fluid dynamics to improve the combustion efficiency of the engine, thanks to the reduction of the temperature of the air in the cylinder, which also helps boost its power output. Furthermore, several additional lightening efforts, custom Inconel manifolds, and other items improve the overall performance, making this a true technological marvel of an engine.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system, the F8 Tributo can accelerate from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.9 seconds. Additionally, the F8 Tributo will sprint from zero to 124mph (0-200km/h) in 7.6 seconds. The top speed is a whopping 350km/h (211mph).
To make things even more interesting, according to Ferrari, the Tributo’s downforce has been increased by 15 percent as compared to the 488 GTB, making it a potent weapon both on the street and the track.
The owner of this Rosso Corsa Ferrari F8 Tributo came to R1 Motorsport because the OEM look wasn’t cutting it. They’ve worked with the California-based tuning powerhouse and added a set of ADV10 M.V2 CS Series two-piece concave forged wheels to this Italian supercar, thus creating a rather stunning wheel setup. The wheels for this build are sized 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear. For the finish, the customer went with a Polished w/ Polished Windows finish combination, topped off with 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware.
The end result is one of the most striking Ferrari F8 Tributo’s out there. You can grab a detailed look at the final product in the large media gallery right below.
