Beautiful Sakhir Orange BMW M3 That’ll Knock You Off Your Feet
With the advent of the all-new BMW M3 and BMW M4, there were two amazing color options available: Yas Marina Blue and Austin Yellow. However, a third one – released later – may be an even more impressive color option overall. Called Sakhir Orange, this is one of the most impacting exterior finishes offered by BMW in recent years. Naturally, adorning the high-performance model like the M4 with it only makes it even more appealing.
The project started off as a plain-old BMW M3 – if you can call an M3 that. The vehicle is powered by a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 425 horsepower and maximum of 550 Nm torque. When equipped with a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), it will accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph (250km/h).
In reality, that’s one hell of a start for a project like this one. The owner of this BMW F80 M3 took his beast to AUTOCouture Motoring. This is where the vehicle received some rather clean & appealing aftermarket tuning parts.
While some builds go over the top, the owner of this BMW M3 has done a great job conserving the spirit of the M3 while carefully choosing aftermarket parts for his car. Alex, the owner of this M3, chose to stick with the fundamentals of the tuning world: carbon fiber, wheels and and a drop.
The car is slammed, thanks to a set of KW Suspension Variante3 Coilovers, allowing allowing for adjustments in height, rebound and stiffness. Additionally, this kit also allows you to switch from street use and trackday setups with ease, giving a flexible suspension option.
After the vehicle was lowered, a set of Apex ARC-8 wheels in 19-inches in size were installed. In turn, these give the BMW M3 a rather sporty look.
