Renault Symbioz: Technology in Symphony With Elegance
This is the first time we have featured a Renault on our portal, and for good reason. Meet the Renault Symbioz, a new family car that naturally blends cutting-edge technology and classic elegance. The Symbioz embodies over 60 years of automotive design and functionality innovation, evoking Renault’s famous family automobiles, like the Renault 16 and Espace.
Renault Symbioz: A Legacy Of Versatility Meets New Technology
Renault has a rich history of crafting family cars that not only meet practical needs but also adapt to the evolving lifestyles of their drivers. That’s the reason why they aim to make this car the symbiosis of driver and the modern lifestyle.
Between the Captur and Austral in the brand’s portfolio, this hybrid SUV is 4.41 meters long and built on an extended CMF-B platform shared with the Clio, Captur, and Megane Conquest.
The new Renault SUV has an E-Tech hybrid 145 engine. This hybrid technology uses Renault’s Formula 1 expertise in energy recovery and regeneration while braking for efficient performance. A 36 kW primary electric motor and 18 kW high-voltage starter-generator motor are combined with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, a clever ‘dog-clutch’ gearbox, and a 1.2 kWh battery in the hybrid architecture.
A really cool feature of the Renault Symbioz is that the gearbox has four gasoline engine gear ratios and two major electric motor gear ratios. Up to 14 ways, the E-Tech complete hybrid 145 engine may combine thermal and electric motor power. In city driving, the Symbioz starts in electric mode and stays in it for up to 80% of the time. We must admit that this isn’t something we see every day, even in hybrid vehicle technology, and it could be a true innovation for city driving.
With WLTP-rated fuel consumption of 4.6 liters per 100 km, this technology lets the Renault Symbioz perform well on every terrain.
Chic Interior and Maximum Comfort
While the Renault Symbioz’s stunning exterior impresses with it’s new visual identity, its cabin reveals the Symbioz’s real nature—a balanced combination of opulent comfort and sophisticated technology.
Renault always focuses on a unified design language, which is seen in Symbioz’s dashboard structure, which is shared with the new Captur. A sleek 10.3-inch digital display displays vehicle information and configurable settings in the driver’s line of vision. This straightforward interface keeps drivers informed and in control, improving road safety and convenience.
Within the interior, the 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen in the central console stands out. This touchscreen controls several features and functions using the OpenR Link multimedia system. Integrating built-in Google services with Android Automotive 12 distinguishes it. From navigation to entertainment and connectivity to voice commands, the options are unlimited, keeping passengers amused and connected.
The Renault Symbioz’s adaptable cargo space demonstrates how practical it is beyond its technology. Depending on the movable rear bench arrangement, the Symbioz has 492 to 624 liters of passenger and load space. The Renault Symbioz readily accommodates large objects and provides adequate legroom for guests. The trunk can hold 1582 liters with the rear seats folded, making it excellent for lengthy journeys or shopping trips.
Renault’s Symbioz comes in seven stunning hues, demonstrating its customization. Standard 18-inch wheels provide elegance, while optional 19-inch wheels improve performance and appearance.
Family Mobility With Eco-Friendly Innovation
With a weight of less than 1,500 kg and an E-Tech hybrid 145 engine, this small SUV changes the way people think about environmentally friendly driving without sacrificing speed or usefulness. The Symbioz is a new standard for family transportation in the modern age. Its sleek form, cutting-edge technologies, and roomy interior make it a true masterpiece.
The Symbioz is the newest small car from Renault. It is the conclusion of the brand’s Renaulution offensive in the C market. Renault has become a star in green transportation with the Symbioz, which builds on the success of models like the Arkana, Mégane E-Tech electric, Austral, and Scénic E-Tech electric. The Symbioz is about to change the way families enjoy the open road because it has the best mix of speed, flexibility, and style.
