We can debate the design language of new BMWs until the cows come home, but the fact remains, these are rather popular vehicles that draw a lot of attention and, judging by the sheer number of cars seen on the streets lately, they really sell well. In turn, the fully-electric BMW iX is one of the most interesting additions to BMW’s lineup in recent years, producing an electric vehicle that comes with an extravagant, yet futuristic design, impressive powertrain, good range, and all the luxury items you’d expect from a vehicle in its price range.

The 2022 BMW iX xDrive50 all-electric SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) starts at $84,100 and boasts an estimated range of up to 324 miles (521 kilometers). It’s a rather large, spacious, and luxurious vehicle that is sized similarly to the highly-coveted BMW X5 – on the outside. Interior-wise, the electric SAV actually provides a bit more space in the cabin and the luxury element is heightened to a new level, even when compared to the BMW X5. This particular BMW iX comes with a gorgeous Black Sapphire Metallic paint finish, giving the large EV an even more daunting exterior look.

In order to make his vehicle stand out even more and that the gorgeous exterior paint finish is further protected against the elements and daily wear & tear problems, the owner of this BMW iX took it to Bulletproof Auto Spa, Los Angeles’ premiere detailing facilities for some work. The vehicle received a complete paint correction, debadging, PPF (Paint Protection Film), window tinting, and ceramic coating, protecting its exterior and giving it an even more impressive look.

The multi-stage paint correction offered by the detailing shop ensures that the pristine new paint finish on this car is leveled, cleaned, and correct so it can be protected for years to come. After this process was done, the detailer followed with a complete front-end XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film alongside the lower body high-impact areas, ensuring the utmost protection to the vehicle without adding the paint protection film on the whole vehicle. To clean up the exterior look, the badges on the vehicle were removed, pushing the blacked-out look to a new level.

Finally, the owner wanted to tint the windows, matching the entire car with a similar window tint, done with an XPEL Prime XR premium ceramic window tint. The wheels were also taken care of, receiving a full wheel barrel and caliper ceramic coating, ensuring easier brake dust cleanup, protection, and improved looks for years to come.

Finally, a complete vehicle ceramic coating was added on top, ensuring an additional level of protection for this vehicle. In the case of this BMW iX, a full vehicle Gyeon Q2 Infinite Base Type 1 ceramic coating is applied to ensure both pristine looks and added protection to the paint finish of this vehicle.
