Grigio Silverstone Ferrari 812 GTS Gets The Novitec Treatment at Wheels Boutique

With some tastefully chosen Novitec parts, Wheels Boutique managed to turn this already gorgeous Grigio Silver Ferrari 812 Superfast into an even more beautiful machine

The Ferrari 812 Superfast is a direct successor to the much-liked Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. It’s a front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive grand tourer from the Italian car maker, released back at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Together with its open-top sibling – the Ferrari 812 GTS – the vehicle is powered by a gorgeously sounding 6.5 Liter V12 engine – up from 6.3 liters in the F12 – at the time, the most powerful naturally aspirated production car engine ever made. It does not feature turbocharging or hybrid technology. The power output is 789 horsepower and 718Nm (530lb-ft) of torque. And thanks to the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that Getrag builds for Ferrari, some pretty damn amazing shift times and acceleration is expected.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast will sprint from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.9 seconds, while its 75 kg (165 lb) heavier open-top sibling will do the same run in under 3.0 seconds – as claimed by Ferrari. Both vehicles are capable of 8.3-second 0-200km/h runs. Furthermore, the car will achieve a maximum top speed of over 340km/h – but Ferrari isn’t clear what the exact number is. However, what makes the Ferrari 812 GTS special is that this is the first front-engine V12 series production convertible model offered by Ferrari in 50 years. Sure, convertible variants of the 550, the 575, and the 599 were sold, but these were limited edition models meant for special customers only. To make matters even more interesting, the hard top can be operated with speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph) and it takes just 14 seconds for it to be open or close.

As we’ve come used to, these gorgeous Italian machines come in bundles from Wheels Boutique, one of the most premium places to aftermarket tune your high-performance supercar. Located in Miami, Florida, they are behind some of the world’s most impressive aftermarket builds, ranging from carbon fiber aero kit, custom interiors, performance, and engine tuning, to suspension upgrades to wheels. And this beautiful Grigio Silverstone Ferrari 812 GTS received some love, courtesy of Novitec.

First, Wheels Boutique added some Novitec carbon fiber additions, like the subtle carbon fiber lip spoiler and several trim pieces, completing the blacked-out look. After the exterior received some tweaks, it was time to let the growl of the V12 become even deeper, thanks to a complete aftermarket Novitec exhaust system, designed & engineered for this application. When mated with the Novitec ECU upgrade, this Inconel exhaust system delivers a power boost of up to 840 horsepower, a nice upgrade over the stock performance levels. Furthermore, the customer upgraded the wheels on his ride, done tastefully thanks to Novitec NF9 wheels – built in cooperation with Vossen, another Miami-based aftermarket tuning company.

For this build, the wheels are sized 21×10 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear and come with a Gloss Black finish. In turn, they accentuate the large orange Ferrari carbon ceramic brake calipers perfectly, giving it a nice finishing touch. Finally, a set of Novitec springs allowed the tuner to improve the stance of this beast even further, delivering a compelling argument for modding a vehicle like this. Simply beautiful.
