Novitec Takes on the Lamborghini Revuelto, and the Result Is 1,048 hp of Purple-Tinted Madness

The Lamborghini Revuelto is already the most powerful Lamborghini ever built. Novitec looked at that and decided it wasn’t enough. The German tuner just unveiled its first full refinement program for the V12 hybrid supercar, and the show car they chose to debut it on is finished in a shade of purple that’s a deliberate callback to one of the most iconic Lamborghinis ever made.

The Purple Isn’t Random

For the debut of the Novitec Lamborghini Revuelto program, the team painted their show car in a deep purple hue that intentionally echoes the color Lamborghini chose for the Diablo SE 30 in 1993, the special edition built to mark 30 years of the Italian brand. It’s a detail that takes this from a press release exercise into something with a bit of soul. Novitec could have gone matte black or satin grey like everyone else. They went purple, and they did it for a reason. That sets the tone for the rest of the package.

The Aero Kit: Wind Tunnel Work, Not Guesswork

The bodywork program was developed using actual wind-tunnel time, which matters for a car capable of over 350 km/h. All components are produced in exposed carbon with a high-gloss clearcoat finish, though they can be painted in body color or a contrasting shade, depending on the owner’s preference.

Up front, the package combines two aero panels on either side of the front bumper, which also visually amplify the side air intakes, plus a central front blade. These components increase front-axle downforce at high speed, directly improving stability. The Novitec hood is available in either fully exposed carbon or body color. Headlight trims and a front cover made from the same composite material round out the nose treatment.

Along the sides, reshaped rocker panels, aero trim pieces on the scissor doors, and carbon mirror covers give the Revuelto a more aggressive side profile. At the rear, the retractable Novitec rear wing is the visual anchor: a more sculpted shape with a pronounced lip spoiler that generates additional rear-axle downforce. The exposed-carbon engine hood can optionally be fitted with an airbox to improve the delivery of fresh air to the V12. A custom surround between the taillights cleanly frames the exhaust outlets.

The Exhaust: Inconel, Gold Plating, and 33 Extra Horsepower

This is where things get serious. Novitec developed a fully thermally insulated high-performance exhaust system specifically for the Revuelto’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine. The four tailpipes are arranged in a 2+2 layout: the two center pipes measure 110 mm in diameter, 10 mm larger than the two outer pipes. The visual effect is properly theatrical.

Two material options are available. The first is stainless steel. The second is Inconel, the same high-temperature alloy used in Formula 1. Both versions are wrapped in elaborate thermal insulation to reduce engine bay temperatures. The Inconel variant adds an option for 999 fine gold plating, which isn’t just for show: gold is genuinely one of the best heat-reflective materials available, so the plating actually improves thermal management while looking spectacular doing it.

An optional active sound management system uses integrated butterfly valves, letting the driver dial the exhaust note between restrained cruising character and full racing sound. When the system is combined with Novitec’s sports catalysts, the V12 gains 24.2 kW (33 hp) without any further modifications. The Revuelto’s three electric motors stay completely stock. The result is a combined system output of 771 kW (1,048 hp), making it the most powerful Revuelto available.

Wheels: Three Designs, 72 Colors, Developed with Vossen

Novitec partnered with the Miami-based wheelmaker Vossen on the Revuelto, continuing a collaboration that has produced strong results on previous Lamborghini programs. Vossen developed three distinct designs specifically for this car, available across 72 color variants and three surface finishes: smooth, brushed, or polished.

The show car runs the NL5 design, which features six spokes that split into a tapered Y shape toward the rim edge, with a centerlock-style hub cover. The widest fitment option pairs 9.5Jx21 wheels at the front with 12.5Jx22 at the rear, wrapped in 265/30 ZR 21 and 355/25 ZR 22 tires, respectively. That staggered setup places even greater emphasis on the Revuelto’s already aggressive wedge proportions.

To match the new wheel-and-tire package, Novitec offers custom sports springs that lower the ride height by approximately 25 mm (about 1 inch). The lower center of gravity tightens up the handling further, which on a car already engineered to this level means the changes are felt rather than just measured.

In the end, you get a lot of supercar in a gorgeous form

The Novitec Revuelto program is comprehensive in the way Novitec programs tend to be: every area of the car gets addressed, and nothing feels bolted on as an afterthought. The power gains are modest relative to the stock output (the Revuelto already produces 1,015 hp from the factory), but the 33 additional horsepower from the exhaust and catalyst combination is a byproduct of a system that also improves thermal management, sound character, and visual impact simultaneously. That’s good engineering.

The real draw here is the depth of personalization. Three wheel designs, 72 colors, gold-plated Inconel exhausts, body-color or exposed-carbon aero, active sound management: this is a program built for owners who want the Revuelto to feel entirely their own. The purple show car is the perfect introduction. It signals that Novitec understands what makes a Lamborghini a Lamborghini, and they’ve leaned into it completely.
