Widebody Audi RS6 With ADV.1’s, Carbon Fiber And Aggressive Looks

Just a little bit of warning: this Nardo Gray Audi RS6 Avant will piss off purists everywhere. While we tend to agree that some parts of this build were overdone, the whole thing actually looks quite incredible. The selection of parts – from what we can see from the photographs – is top notch. The quantity of them and their placement might be a bit over the top though.

The outgoing Audi RS6 is a fine beast of a machine to begin with. The production rated Audi RS6 utilizes a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which delivers 605 horsepower and 700Nm of torque. Thanks to the impressive Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle will sprint from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 3.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155.3 mph). Furthermore, if you opt-in for the optional Dynamic or Dynamic Plus package, this top speed is increased to respectively 280 km/h (174.0 mph) or 305 km/h (189.5 mph).

Not a bad starting point for an aftermarket build.

This particular Nardo gray Audi RS6 Avant comes from Race!, a tuning company out of South Africa. Well-known for their work in the world of high-performance automobiles, these guys never cease to amaze us with the quality or the magnitude of their builds. The same can be said about this build.

First, this Audi RS6 Avant received a complete carbon fiber widebody. It consists of a front time attack lip spoiler, a set of wider front fenders, side skirts, rear widened fenders, a complete rear diffuser setup and a huge rear trunk wing/spoiler thingie, joined by a bottom spoiler, right below the boot’s rear window placement that serves to provide additional downforce. The vehicle is also equipped with canards literally all over the place. In our opinion, the owner could of went without these. Their removal would clean up the car so much, get rid of that too busy feeling and give the vehicle a much more cleaner & aggressive look.

When these parts were installed, the tuner went on to install an exposed carbon fiber bonnet, revealing the mighty 4.0 Liter V8 engine below. Furthermore, the vehicle features a set of H&R Special Springs, a AWE Tuning airbox & intake and a complete Armytrix Automotive Weaponized exhaust system. As you will see from the video below, the rumble coming out of those exhaust pipes in the rear is impressive, to say the least.

Finally, the tuner added a set of ADV7R Directional Track Spec CS Series forged wheels. These lightweight wheels come sized 22×11 in the front and 22×11 in the rear. The wheels feature a Matte Black finish, joined by the vehicle pin-stripe matching the ADV.1 logo, giving the wheels that perfect finishing touch. The wheels are sourced with a completely Exposed Titanium Hardware option, finished in the same Matte Black finish as the wheels themselves.
