Photoshoot: Throwback Lamborghini Aventador on ADV05 Track Spec CS Series Wheels
We’re throwing it back to 2015, to a much simpler time, with more supercar builds, more wheels and more genuine car stuff with this Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
Going into the weekend a bit weary of the current world events, we thought it might be a good idea to do a bit of a throwback to what we consider the golden age of custom wheels. This Bianco Isi Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 build was done back in 2015. It feature all that car nuts could ever want: a pristine looking Italian supercar, carbon fiber, lowering, a set of custom-made ADV05 Track Spec CS Series wheels, wrapped up with some Miami real estate serving as the best backdrop for a photoshoot by William Stern. It had it all.
Right now, 2015 sounds like a great idea. It was the year we saw Narcos get released. It was also the year when Will Smith teamed up with the gorgeous Margot Robbie for Focus, a movie that had that feel good factor instilled in it. It was also the time of everybody and their mother ordering a set of forged wheels from the companies like ADV.1. And as a result, 2015 was one of the years when we saw most supercar builds in recent years as well, making us drool all over pristine Italian made supercars and luxury vehicles. Just sheer perfection in a single time frame.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in a nutshell
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is powered by a 6.5 Liter V12 engine delivering 740 horsepower and 690 Nm (507 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a 7-Speed single-clutch gearbox. However, despite being single-clutch, gear-shifts are accomplished in 50 milliseconds. In addition, the Aventador comes with an all-new, electronically controlled, all-wheel drive system, allowing for impressive traction and driving dynamics.
In turn, this Italian supercar is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 2.8 seconds. For the top speed crazed individuals, the Aventador’s top speed is a mind-bending 217 mph (350 km/h). As a result, this is the perfect foundation for a high-profile aftermarket build.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Carbon Fiber Aero Kit
If you were wondering, yes, this Aventador comes with a complete carbon fiber aero kit. While we can agree that this vehicle comes perfectly visually balanced from the factory, a premium carbon fiber aero kit like this can certainly turn up the aggressiveness to a whole new level. This particular kit features a complete front bumper, side skirts, mirror covers, side air intakes, a rear bumper with a diffuser, all wrapped up with a YUUUUGE aero wing.
The gorgeous ADV05 Track Spec Competition Spec three-piece forged wheels
While we understand that most owners don’t have a need or desire to go with a custom-made set of wheels, for vehicles like the Lamborghini Aventador, these are simply a must. Thanks to their forged construction, these wheels are stronger, albeit lighter when compared to their flow-formed and cast counterparts. Furthermore, they offer a wider range of possible design & engineering advancements, making up for a more intricately designed wheel. And to make matters even more compelling, they also offer several design features like spoke cuts, different shapes and design cues, all resulting in a much more detailed and better looking wheel.
For this Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 build, these wheels are machined in sizes of 21×9.5 in the front and 22×12.5 in the rear. The wheels come with a Matte Bronze finish. Finally, they feature a 50/50 Exposed Titanium Hardware furthering the unsprung weight for this application as well.
While these wheels don’t come cheap and there is a rather long lead time on almost all forged wheels these days, if you want the top of the line wheels that are custom made for your application, going with a set of forged wheels from ADV.1 is always a great idea.
