This Melbourne Red BMW X5 M Is Truly An Epic Masterpiece
Some might consider calling this a masterpiece, a little over the top. But, this is one of those builds where every single detail fits and there is so little that could be done more, all in order to improve the looks of this vehicle in any area.
The build in question started as a gorgeous Melbourne Red BMW X5 M. The well-known SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle) is one of the most brutal and appealing SUV’s out there. It gives the owners plenty of power, exhilarating performance and lumbering speed – accompanied by the aggressive and beautiful overall exterior looks. The BMW X5 M is powered by a 4.4 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 575 horsepower and 553lb-ft of torque, that allows the X5 M to accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.0 seconds. The vehicle will also accelerate all the way to 155mph (250km/h).
This is definitely a great foundation for an aftermarket build.
The project in question was built thanks to IND Distribution and Wheels Boutique. The build comes with a bevvy of performance and visual upgrades, giving the BMW X5 M a clean & aggressive overall looks.
First, an Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust System was installed, giving the lumbering SAV more power and torque, better throttle response, but above all, a much better sound note. The exhaust system is accompanied with quad carbon fiber exhaust tips and a rear diffuser, both made by Akrapovic – the company that made the exhaust system.
After that was done, it was time to upgrade the vehicle’s exterior looks a bit more. These BBS CH-R wheels, coming in sizes of 21×10 in the front and 21×11.5 in the rear, finished in a Gunmetal finish option, give the vehicle a much better visual appeal overall. The owner chose this size in order to keep the stock tires, but also, to allow the BMW X5 M the same performance oriented handling, that the X5 M is well-known for overall.
Finally, a Brembo GT Big Brake Kit was installed. It fills two roles: first, the visual appeal of the large yellow brake calipers looks great on the exterior. Second, the brakes allow for much better breaking power and the owner can now track the car with more success as well.
