Desert Tan Lamborghini Huracán Performante on ADV.1 Wheels

No, this Desert Tan Lamborghini Huracán Performante will not invade Iraq anytime soon, but it will take over any car event it goes to

While a lot of people will hate army inspired car wraps, we love them! Everything from Army Green to Desert Tan works for us. And the latter fits the Lamborghini Huracán Performante we have here today perfectly. Another build by R1 Motorsport, this Huracán Performante comes with a complete carbon fiber body kit and a set of ADV.1 Wheels installed, turning this Italian beauty into an even more head turn inducing piece of machinery. And quite honestly, it looks rather great.

The build started with a wrap that’s probably better suited for a Middle East bound IFV. However, this desert-themed wrap suits the Performante just as well. The matte finish of this wrap gives an additional accentuating effect to the curvaceous lines of this beautiful Italian beast. Furthermore, the carbon fiber accents really make a great contrasting touch, breaking the tan theme perfectly.

The Vorsteiner carbon fiber aero body kit, custom exhaust system and more

In addition to the wrap, the California-based tuning company managed to push the aggression level of this car further. Done thanks to a complete Vorsteiner carbon fiber aero kit. This aero kit consists of a carbon fiber aero front spoiler, an aero bonnet, a set of aero front fenders w/ integrated vents, and splash shields, all topped off with a set of side sill blades. While this would be over the top on some cars, fitted to a Lamborghini, it definitely looks right at home.

Next, the tuner went over and custom painted the engine bay’s X-brace in a clean Gloss Red finish. Sure, a small visual touch, but for us, it adds that signifying detailed touch. For a more throatier exhaust note from the powerful V10 engine found in the Performante, R1 Motorsport built a complete custom exhaust system. It’s their in-house built solution that caters to all the specific requirements of this powerplant, creating one of the best sounding Huracán Performantes out there. Something that everyone that encounters this Italian beast will undoubtedly hear & feel.

The ADV10 Track Spec Advanced Series Wheels by ADV.1 Wheels

For everyone that enjoys aftermarket tuning builds, you know that a set of wheels can make or break a build. It doesn’t matter how cool the body kit is, how big the rear spoiler is or what kind of a wrap does the car come with, it’s the wheels that make or break the final product. Sure, all of the above matters, but if you choose a wrong set of wheels, the whole look might be ruined.

In turn, selecting a premium wheel maker like ADV.1 Wheels is mandatory for a build such as this. And in this case, the customer went with a set of ADV10 Track Spec Advanced Series three-piece concave forged wheels.

For this Desert Tan Huracán, the wheels are sized 20×9.5 in the front and 21×12.5 in the rear. The standard-sized asymmetrical front/rear setup the wheel company offers for this vehicle. For the finish, R1 Motorsports went with a Gloss Black option for both the wheel centers and inner barrel. Add the 50/50 Exposed Hardware option and the wheels have nice finishing touch.
