Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary Aventador Looks Insane With ADV.1 Wheels
When we first saw the Lamborghini Aventador, we were quite blown away by its extravagant design, something that the guys from Sant’Agata Bolognese take very seriously. Modesty and low profile are hardly the words to describe any Lamborghini, but for some reason the Aventador took the classic Lambo shape and completely reinvented it for the new century.
The question is, how do you make a supercar like that even more exclusive and desirable? Lamborghini took care of that with a special limited release first shown in 2013 in Shanghai. Limited to only 100 units, this model carries the name 50 Anniversario, meaning that it is made to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th birthday. Imagined as a gift from Lamborghini to its customers, it has an exclusive aero package to help it stand out from the crowd of normal Lamborghinis, even if that sounds a bit impossible. Starting with larger and wider air intakes, the package also adds oversized flaps and a big splitter, where as the back now has a large diffuser which helps to increase aerodynamic efficiency for more than 50 percent.
The interior also gets an update, starting with an elaborate stitching scheme, dubbed Q-Citura, developed just for this model.
Of course, the engine is also upgraded and now develops 710 horsepower, if the standard 691 HP isn’t enough, but surprisingly the performance stays the same. But no one was really complaining about that one to begin with.
Ready to kick it up a notch? ADV.1 wheels has a solution for that: Feast your eyes on the special Aventador with ADV.1’s PML 101 Track Spec CS Series wheels, sized 21×10 and 21×13 in the front and rear, respecilvely. The wheels pictured here come in a finely textured gunmetal finish.
The color goes perfectly with the aerodynamic upgrades introduced with the Anniversario, while the basic slim shape of the wheels simply bristle with performance on the car.
Prices are available on request, but then Lamborghini has already sold out this model. Still, you can check out the way it looks in our hi-res gallery below.
