The top model of Lucid Air, the Dream Edition Performance comes with a whopping 1,111 horsepower and an estimated range of up to 836 kilometers (520 miles). According to the carmaker, charging to about 480 kilometers (300 miles) of the range will take just 30 minutes – if the car is connected to DC fast chargers. Naturally, the actual rates will vary based upon vehicle equipment and charging conditions. Pretty impressive, to say the least, and one of the things that most EV skeptics like to throw out as arguments against going electric. The Lucid Air clearly removes that issue.

The Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance will accelerate from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 2.5 seconds thanks to its all-wheel-drive setup. And when you include the gorgeous designed, not impacted or constrained by the classic needs of ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) powered cars, the Lucid Air redefines shape, proportion, and dimension of a luxury sedan – while imbuing thoughtful craftsmanship into every detail.

And for a starting price tag of $169,000, it is also one of the most expensive EV options out there, beating by a large margin even the Model S Plaid, which starts at about $130,000 – with incentives included.
