Final Pagani Zonda Arrivederci Set To Be Revealed In Public
It’s Monterrey Car Week, and the thrilling automotive event is set to feature some of the world’s most amazing cars in one place. Filled to the brink with bespoke automotive creations worth millions of dollars, featuring carbon fiber bodies, impressive hand-built engines, pristine paint jobs, and impressive interiors, this is one of the most coveted yearly events for any petrolhead. For companies like Pagani, it’s a perfect setting to reveal their brand-new automobiles, and for this year, the Italian marque is set to premiere the Pagani Utopia Roadster, a gorgeous open-top with a lovely V12 in the back. However, that probably won’t be the most impressive car from Pagani, as a special Zonda will also be showcased during the event.
Known as the Arrivederci, this Zonda adorns chassis #140, making it the final new Pagani Zonda ever created. It belongs to an American businessman and car collector Kris Singh, who took delivery of his bespoke creation last year – and immediately put it into storage, never giving the prying public eyes any view of his precious automobile. And that’s about to change. Sure, we know what the Arrivederci looks like thanks to a slew of official renderings released earlier this year, but this will be the first time the automobile is shown in flesh. And while the body of the Zonda Arrivederci shares a lot in common with other models from the 760 series, it includes plenty of custom elements.
For much of the body, it is adorned with a special form of carbon fiber with a silver finish that looks simply breathtaking. For these elements to pop up even more, they have been contrasted by dark blue carbon fiber, including across the front wheel arches, rocker panels, hood, headlight surrounds, roof scoop, shark fin, and the massive rear wing. The latter drawing inspiration from the wing of the one-off Zonda JC. It boasts bespoke end plates and sits much higher than the wings of most Zondas. Furthermore, you’ll find other dramatic touches, such as the light blue and red accents, custom badging, and silver taillight surrounds. It also has carbon ceramic brakes with red brake calipers.
It wouldn’t be a proper billionaire car-collector build if the vehicle didn’t feature a bespoke interior. In the case of the Arrivederci, it’s definitely a level up from normal – as expected. The interior features plenty of exposed carbon fiber elements, joined by red leather and accentuated by wood on the steering wheel, making this one classy-looking combination.
Not much is known regarding the engine of the Zonda Arrivederci, but it is rumored that it shares 7.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with other Zonda 760 models, churning out a pretty impressive 760 horsepower and 780 N⋅m (575 lb⋅ft) at 4,000 rpm. The vehicle should be able to do a 0-100km/h (0-62mph) time of 3.4 seconds and attain the 350 km/h (217 mph) top speed – just as other 760 models of the Zonda, all the while producing one of the sweetest exhaust notes from any car, ever. Truly a remarkable automobile, which is going to be one of the most coveted items at this year’s Monterrey Car Week for sure. We expect full-blown real-life images of this beauty to be revealed in a few days. Enjoy!
